We build and extend models that connect generation, demand, storage, networks and molecules across countries and time. This gives planners one place to see how a change in one part of the system affects the rest.
The planning question
Explore a system where carriers, constraints and weather scenarios interact.
Terajoule models electricity, hydrogen, methane and synthetic fuels, from continental systems down to individual nodes. We agree the scenario, assemble the data and build or adapt the model, then use the results to identify the constraints driving the outcome.
Each result belongs to a defined scenario. We record the sources and assumptions, test sensitivities and explain how far the result can be used. If the model cannot answer part of the question, we say so.
Partnerships & consortiums
We work with partners when the question needs more than one area of expertise.
We are open to partnerships and consortiums with system operators, public bodies, research organisations, infrastructure developers and technology teams.
